Chasing Sunsets is a short-term vacation rental in Scottsdale, Arizona, operated by Gledhill Management LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). This policy explains what information we collect when you visit chasingsunsetsaz.com or book a stay with us, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

When you submit a booking request, we collect the information you provide directly: your name, email address, mobile phone number, stay dates, party size, and any notes you send us. We may also collect a government-issued ID for identity verification, and payment information processed by our payment processor (Stripe) — we never store your full card number on our servers.

When you visit the site, we automatically collect basic technical information (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) to keep the site secure and improve the experience.

How we use your information

• To confirm and manage your reservation.
• To send booking-related emails and (with your consent) text messages — including check-in instructions, arrival reminders, and post-stay follow-ups.
• To verify guest identity and prevent fraud.
• To respond to your questions and provide guest support.

SMS and Mobile Messaging Privacy

Chasing Sunsets is operated by Gledhill Management LLC. If you voluntarily opt in to receive SMS messages from Chasing Sunsets, we may collect your mobile phone number and messaging consent information in order to send communications related to your reservation and stay, including booking confirmations, identity-verification requests, pre-arrival instructions, check-in information, property access information, check-out reminders, guest support, and post-stay communications.

Message frequency varies and is typically approximately 5–9 messages per reservation. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time or HELP for assistance.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We do not share, sell, rent, transfer, or otherwise provide your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in data, or messaging consent to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties. SMS-collected information is not shared with third parties or associates.

We may use service providers solely as necessary to support our business operations and deliver services to you (for example, our SMS gateway Twilio, our payment processor Stripe, and our hosting provider Render). These service providers act only as processors on our behalf and are contractually bound to protect the information and use it only to provide services to us. Mobile opt-in and messaging consent information will not be shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

How we share information

We share information only with service providers who help us operate the business — email delivery (Mailchimp), SMS delivery (Twilio), payment processing (Stripe), identity verification, and hosting infrastructure (Render). These providers are contractually bound to protect your information and use it only to provide services to us.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our rental agreement, or to protect the safety of guests, the property, or third parties.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent data with third parties for marketing.

Data retention

We retain booking records for as long as needed to operate the business, fulfill tax and legal obligations, and respond to disputes. You can request deletion of your records by contacting us — we'll honor the request unless we're required by law to keep the data.

Your choices

• Email: Unsubscribe from non-essential emails using the link in the footer of any email.
• SMS: Reply STOP to any text to opt out.
• Access / correction / deletion: Contact us at the address below to request a copy of your data, corrections, or deletion.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards (HTTPS, encrypted databases, limited access controls) to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your data safe.

Children

Chasing Sunsets is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
